CRHT has developed a unique collection in the combination of information covering the first International Aviation Meeting in Great Britain and the untimely fatal crash of the Honourable Charles Rolls.An archive index has been made and lodged at the Bournemouth Central Library for use by those who wish to research the Meeting and Rolls. Further information and artefacts owned by individuals may be loaned out or viewed on request. The index can be downloaded here (pdf format)

Short Brothers Commemoration Society
Rolls championed the Short Brothers who created Britain’s first purpose built aircraft factory and also the Sunderland aircraft which helped to save Britain during the Battle of the Atlantic.
